Mountain Movers was established in fall 2017 by Michael Cipolla and Montgomery Carlin.

With 14 years’ experience as a laborer in the moving Industry, Michael approached Montgomery with the idea of creating a moving company near Reading, Pennsylvania.  Montgomery, who has 20+ years dealing antiques, partnered up and together they purchased a small warehouse located centrally in beautiful Wyomissing, PA.

With Michael’s extensive knowledge in the moving business and Monty’s knowledge handling and shipping antiques, they thought it was a perfect combination to start a moving company.

Also, with the lack of moving companies in the area, Monty and Michael wanted to create a fresh, new company for customers to choose from.

A year later, Mountain Movers quickly outgrew its operation in Wyomissing and moved to a larger warehouse located in Mohnton, PA. With the larger warehouse, Mountain Movers transformed into a Moving & Storage business, now capable of offering critical solutions to customers’ moving & storage needs. 

As of 2019, Michael and Monty continue to work hands on with the customer during their moving process. This gives the customers peace of mind to know that the owners are involved directly with their move. From answering the phone, to going out on estimates, and even being out on the job, they continue to strive to provide the best moving experience.
